The Dutch government has declared Ioniqa to be a National Icon. The government expects that the product of the company offers the Netherlands the opportunity to develop a broader leadership position in pet recycling.
The government will help National Icons in the coming three years to realize their ambitions. For example, the innovations each receive a minister or state secretary as their own ambassador. This provides access to a large network at home and abroad, helps in finding financing and new partners and provides support from the government.
