Dutch National chemical recycling platform created

A new Dutch National Platform for chemical recycling should promote knowledge exchange and coordinate initiatives. The platform will also identify areas of innovation, so that (development) programs are designed to cover “blanks”.

The platform was created at the request of the Top Sector Chemistry and the ministries of IenW and EZK. Chemical recycling is one of the most important subjects in the Dutch Plastics Transition Agenda and is part of the innovation agendas in the context of the Climate and Resources Agreement.

On December 10, 2019, the National Platform for Chemical Recycling is organizing a conference that is part of the European Energy & Industry summit in the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam.
