Invest-NL invests through her portfolio investment fund Infinity Recycling in Pryme, an innovative clean tech company based in Rotterdam. Together with a group of other investors, a total of € 13 million is being invested in the commercialization of Pryme’s pyrolysis process. With the recycling plant that Pryme is currently building in Rotterdam, Pryme wants to accelerate the advanced recycling of plastic waste. Production at the new factory is expected to start at the end of this year.
Invest-NL: “We are excited to invest in Pryme in close collaboration with our portfolio fund Infinity Recycling and LyondellBasell. This investment round is an important milestone in scaling up Pryme’s advanced recycling capabilities. They are critical in addressing the very parts of plastic waste streams that cannot be recycled through mechanical technologies. With this investment, we clearly underline the strong position of the Netherlands in tackling the plastic waste crisis.”
